Three-dimensional quantitative photoacoustic tomography is challenged by uncertainties in light fluence distribution and artifacts from limited view problem. This study evaluates advanced acoustic reconstruction algorithms using model-based inversion schemes to improve chromophore and oxygenation quantification.
